MegaUpload Ditutup

MegaUpload ditutup oleh Gubernur US gara2 ada peraturan SOPA dan PIPA ,
MegaUpload adalah tempat mengupload file2 yang sudah populer di semua kalangan
website megaupload yang berlokasi di http://www.megaupload.com/ tidak bisa dibuka lagi :(

dan ini tulisannya Warning. Warning. Megaupload is down, again Megaupload is down! As of January 19, 2012!

Megaupload was a site that lot of people go to to download things on any hour, minute, and second. But it's down because due of the new SOPA and PIPA bills.

With SOPA, the site would be shut down because there was a lot of copyright stuff on the site.

With PIPA, the site would be blocked because it's a site from Hong Kong.

Megaupload is down because the US Judical System and the FBI because they know that Megaupload has many copyrighted content on their. On December 9, 2011, the site published a music titled: "The Mega Song" that shows artists like Kanye West, Snoop Dog, Alica Keys, and will.i.am edorsing the company. The song is also uploaded into YouTube too, and was removed by a take down request from the UMG (Universal Music Group.)

The three days later (December 12, 2011), Megaupload requested an apology from UMG, and filed a lawsuit against the company in the United States District Court for The Northern District of California, UMG denied that the take down was ordered under the terms of the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act.)

UMG said that the take down was "pursuant to the UMG You Tube agreement," which gives UMG the right to block or remove posts from users through the site's content system called the CMS (Content Management System) which is based on a number of of contractually specified criteria."

And again the video was returned back to You Tube with the UMG take down is remaing unclear. You Tube stated. "Our partners do not have the right take down videos from YouTube unless they own the rights to them or they are live peformances controlled by exclusive agreements with their artists, which why we reinstated it." Lawyers for will.i.am claimed that had never agreed to the project, but December 12, he denied any involvement in the take down notice.

The Federal prosecutors in Viginia closed down the site, and charges the founder of the site, Kim Schmitz was arrested along with 6 other people for copyright infringement charges.

A hacktivist group called Anonymous caused a DDOS attack against the US Department of Justice's site along with MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), and the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America closing down their sites. Also the Anoymous shut down the FBI site and UM (Universal Music) too. But you can comment about any US government or non US government site or is down.

It also can be possible for any download sites like MediaFire and Rapidshare, and any file download sites could be down by the government too.

Remenber that no one owns the internet, no single person, government, organization, owns it, but schools, government buildings, workplaces, private propeties, internet operators, and librarys owns it's pieces of the infrastructure that filters their own internet.

We need to keep sending the word to stop all of this kind of madness of our global, free internet in the land of the free that every soldier died for.
